MPAA Rating Settings

You can block TV channel viewing according to the Motion
Picture Association ratings. To do so, follow these steps.
Before you begin, press SELECT to put the TV/VCR/DVD
in TV/VCR mode. The red VCR/TV light will appear on
the front of the TV/VCR/DVD.
1Press SETUP.
2Press or to select V-CHIP SET UP.
Then, press B.

code. (The default code is 0000 if you have not set
up your own code yet.)

5Press or to select the level at which you
want to block viewing. Then, press Bto select
BLOCK or VIEW.
When you Block a category, higher ratings turn to
BLOCK automatically. Lower ratings turn to VIEW
automatically.
When you set G to VIEW or BLOCK, all ratings turn
to VIEW or BLOCK automatically.

G - General Audience
PG - Parental Guidance suggested.
PG-13 - Unsuitable for children
under 13
R - Restricted; under 17 requires

NC-17 - No one under 17 admitted
X - Mature audience only
