Auto Clock Setting

You can have the TV/VCR/DVD set the clock automatically using your PBS channel. Once you set the clock, the TV/VCR/DVD will automatically monitor the correct time and date broadcast by the PBS station.

Before you begin ...

Turn on the TV/VCR/DVD power.

Connect the antenna/Cable TV signal. Details are on pages eight-nine.

Turn on the Cable Box/Satellite Receiver (if applicable).

Set up the TV channels. Details are on pages 18-19.

Press SELECT to put the TV/VCR/DVD in TV/VCR mode. The red VCR/TV light will appear.

1 Press SETUP.

2 Press or to select SETTING CLOCK. Press B.

4 Press to select AUTO CLOCK CH. Then press s or B until your PBS channel number appears beside AUTO CLOCK CH.

Choose AUTO if you want the TV/VCR/DVD to choose a PBS station for you.

5 Press SETUP to remove the menus.

6 Press POWER to turn off the TV/VCR/DVD and let the PBS channel update the clock. This may take from 10 minutes to an hour. When you turn on the unit again, the clock will be set.

Helpful Hints

You must use the TV/VCR/DVD remote control to set the clock.

If there are no stations in your area with the Auto Clock signal, Auto Clock setting is not possible. Use Manual Clock Setting. Details are on pages 20-21.
