DVD to Videotape Duplication 41

Follow the steps below to copy a DVD to a videotape.

This will be possible only if the DVD is not copy protected.

STANDBY-ON

Before you begin:		TIMER SET
● Put a videotape in the cassette compartment. Make sure the tape’s		PROG	BAND	SUBTITLE	ANGLE
		SETUP/	AUDIO/
record tab is intact and the tape is long enough to record the		REC	DISPLAY		ZOOM
DVD.
● Put the DVD you want to copy in the disc tray.			C-RESET
		CH		CLEAR	CH
● Press VCR so the red VCR light appears on the front of		SKIP/			SKIP/

● Turn on the TV.		DISC			VCR
		DVD
Point the remote control at the System. Press Number		MENU			OK
buttons 0, 0, 3. “DISC” will appear on the TV screen in the

2 Press MODE/SPEED until the desired tape speed (SP or SLP) appears briefly in the lower left corner of the TV screen. Details about tape speed are on page 77.

3 Press REC I to start recording. The red RECORD light will appear on the front of the System.

4 Press DVD. Press PLAY B to play the DVD.

5 To pause the recording, press VCR, then press PAUSE k once. The red RECORD light will flash. To resume recording, press REC I or press PAUSE k again. The red RECORD light will come on again.

6 To stop recording, press VCR, then press STOP C.

Helpful Hints

•A Timer Recording is not possible during DVD to Videotape duplication.

•You cannot select Tuner mode during DVD to videotape duplication.

•The recording will not be clear if the DVD has copyright protection.
