Changing a light tube
Disconnect the cooker hood from the mains supply. Ensure that:
–it is switched off at the wall socket and the plug has been withdrawn (do not pull on the cable, only on the plug), or
–the fuse has been withdrawn from the fused spur connection unit, or
–the mains fuse is withdrawn; or
–the
Unscrew the fixing screw of either the right or left hand holder for the glass cover.
When doing this, push the glass cover upwards so that it does not fall on the hob surface.
Take off the glass cover holder.
Then take out the glass cover, guid- ing it downwards at an angle.
Carefully lower the light tube down- wards and pull out.
Change the light tube and push back upwards into place.
Put the glass cover back in place and secure with the glass holder.
