Top-up rinse for Cottons

When this is activated, additional wa- ter flows into the drum at the end of the main wash and the suds are cooled down. Hot suds can damage plastic drainage pipes.

Top-up rinse takes place when temperatures of 95°C and 75°C are selected.

Top-up rinse should be activated:

to prevent the danger of scalding if the drain hose is hooked over the edge of a sink or basin.

where the drainage pipes do not comply with DIN 1986.

The washing machine is delivered with the Top-up rinse for Cottons deactivated.

Follow steps A to G to programme and store in memory.

Before you begin, first ensure that:

The washing machine is switched off.

The machine is properly closed.

The programme selector is at Finish.

APress the Start button and keep it pressed in whilst carrying out steps B to C.

BSwitch the machine on with the I-On/0-Offbutton.

CWait until the Start indicator light comes on . . .

D. . . and then release the Start button.

ETurn the programme selector to the Cottons 40°C position:

If the Soak/Pre-washsequence indicator light:

does not flash

= the Top-up rinse for

 

Cottons has not

 

been activated.

FPress the Start button to activate or deactivate the Top-up rinse for Cottons option.

GSwitch the machine off with the I-On/0-Offbutton.

The setting you have selected is now stored in memory and will remain so until you alter it.
