<How to operate>
To change the air flow direction, press AIR DISCHARGE button.

(1) COOL/DRY operation
At the start-up of COOL or DRY operation, the airflow direction in automatically set to 20°. After, it can be changed to
another direction with AIR DISCHARGE button on the remote controller.
<Auto return>
When 60° or 70° airflow is set with fan speed in LOW, “AUTO RETURN”appears right side of the air direction.One hour
later the direction changes to 20 degrees, automatically and “AUTO RETURN”disappears.
(2) During the operation OFF,the auto vane is the horizontal position.
(3) Automatic swing mechanism (For series PLH)
To enable the automatic swing mechanism, turn ON SW17-10 of the remote controller and SW5-1 of the indoor controller
board.
Swinging air-flow or fixed air-flow can be selected by the AIR-DISCHARGE SWING/STOP button on the remote controller.
● Swinging air-flow :The air flow swings between the horizontal discharge and the downward discharge.
● Fixed air-flow :The air flow is fixed at the set discharge direction.
(4) When the vane motor is out of order or the connector is badly connected,the air discharge display of the remote
controller continues.
Available in COOL operation with fan speed on HIGH or
in HEAT operation.
Unavailable in DRY operation.
If fan speed changes from HIGH to LOW during 45°
downward airflow in COOL mode, the direction automati-
cally changes to 20°.
