Types of Calls

With the Nextel National Network, Nextel Direct Connect, and your Motorola Debut i856 phone, you have the following traditional wireless phone and Nextel Direct Connect services available to you:

DigitalWirelessPhoneCalls offer clear calls and other services, such as missed call notification, Three-Way Calling, speakerphone, and speed dialing (page 21).

DirectConnectCalls allow two-way radio communication with another Direct Connect user within the Nextel National Network (page 27).

GroupConnectCalls allow coast-to-coast two-way radio calling to up to 20 Nextel Direct Connect customers simultaneously (page 29).

NextelDirectSendallows you to send contact information in Direct Connect and Group Connect calls and send pictures in Direct Connect calls (page 34).

TalkgroupCalls allow two-way radio calling to up to 100 Nextel Talkgroup customers simultaneously (page 39).
