1.Press / >Settings>Security.

2.Select PhoneLock>LockNow, enter the unlock code, and press Ok(left softkey). (To set your phone to lock the next time it is turned on, select AutoLock.)

UnlockingYourPhone

At the “Enter Unlock Code” prompt, enter your unlock code and press Ok (left softkey).

ChangingtheLockCode

1.Press / >Settings>Security>ChangePasswords.

2.Select UnlockCode then enter your current unlock code and press Ok (left softkey).

3.Enter and reenter your new lock code, pressing Ok (left softkey) after each.

CallinginLockMode

You can place calls to 911 when in lock mode.

To call an emergency number, dial 911 and press ,

LockingYourKeypad

When your phone is closed and in standby mode, your keypad locks to prevent accidental key presses.

To lock your keypad now, press / >Settings> Security>KeypadLock> LockNow.

To change how long your phone waits before it automatically locks your keypad, press / > Settings>Security>KeypadLock>AutoLockand select a time interval of 2seconds,4seconds,

8secondsor Off.

Note	If the keypad setting is set to off, your keypad will
	remain unlocked.

UnlockingYourKeypad

To unlock your keypad, press Unlock(right softkey) and then press Yes (left softkey).

Note Sliding your phone open will also unlock your phone.
