Intro check disc play: When the PREVIEW button is pressed during the STOP mode, upon pressing the PLAY button, the first track on the disc number

shown in the DISC NUMBER display will be played for about 10 seconds, then the second track on the disc will be played for about 10 seconds. Disc play will continue in this way until all the tracks on all the discs have been scanned. If you press the PRE- VIEW button during normal play, intro check disc play begins with the next track.

If you perform the same action while the track is played for less than 10 seconds, the intro check disc play starts from that track.

When tracks have been programmed, they will be scanned in order for about 10 seconds each. If the PLAY button is pressed during intro check disc play, the intro check mode will end and normal disc play will continue from that point.

Repeat Play: PREVIEW Disc Play

1.Press the PREVIEW button and PLAY button.

2.Press the REPEAT button.

3.Intro play is repeated for the tracks on all discs.

-If the REPEAT button is pressed again PREVIEW play is repeated for the track currently playing, and REPEAT ONE indicator lights.

Selecting a Disc for PREVIEW Checking

1.Press the PREVIEW button.

2.Select a disc number using the DISC NO. button.

3.Press the PLAY button.

NOTE:

-In order to designate a track number on the disc, press the DISC NO. button first and the press the TRACK NO. button.

-Upon finishing the entire PREVIEW disc play, the display changes to STOP.

PREVIEW Checking During Programmed

Disc Play

1.Press the PROGRAM button.

2.Press the PREVIEW button.

3.Press the PLAY button.

NOTES:

-Upon finishing the entire programmed intro check disc play, the mode changes to stop for the pro- grammed play.

-Pressing a SHUFFLE button activates intro check disc play at random within the programmed tracks.

PREVIEW Time Setting

The time allocated for the PREVIEW can be changed as follows:

1.Input the desired time by pressing a TRACK NO. button (one to 99 seconds).

2.Press the PREVIEW button.

3.Press the DISC NO. button. (in order to desig- nate a track number on the disc, press the DISC NO. button first and then press the TRACK NO. button)

4.Press the PLAY button.

Repeat Play: Shuffle Programmed Tracks

1.Enter the program.

2.Press the SHUFFLE button.

3.Press the REPEAT Button.

4.Press the PLAY button.

5. Programmed tracks are played at random

Repeat Play; PREVIEW Play of Shuffle Programmed Tracks

1.Enter the program.

2.Press the PREVIEW button.

3.Press the SHUFFLE button.

4.Press the PLAY button.

5.Press the REPEAT button.

6.The shuffle programmed intro scan disc play is repeated until the STOP button is pressed.

If the REPEAT button is pressed again, repeat play is cancelled and shuffle programmed intro scan disc play starts.

- The REPEAT indicator goes OFF.

EDIT PLAY MODES

The tracks are selected and played so that when recording only complete tracks will be recorded to each side of the tape.

1.Press the STOP button.

2.Press the remote control’s EDIT button once. - The EDIT indicator lights.

- The DISC NUMBER and TRACK NUMBER dis- plays will show “C90” (the length of the tape in min- utes, that will be used for recording) for approximately 10 seconds.

If a C-60 or C-46 cassette will be used for record- ing, press the EDIT button one or two more times to select the “C60” or”C46” tape length.

NOTE:

-Other tape lengths can be selected. See “Changing The Tape Length”.

-To end edit play, press the Edit button a fourth time or press the STOP button. The EDIT indicator turns off.

3.Press the DISC NUMBER button which corre- sponds to the tray number of the disc to be played.

4.Press the “>>I” or “I<<” button or the remote con- trol’s TRACK NUMBER button(s) to start edit play from a specific track.If you wish to play programmed selections, enter a program.
