Ethernet Setup

Menu 3 is for configuring the Ethernet LAN parameters, including interface type, filters, DHCP, and IP address information. From the Main Menu, enter 3 to display Menu 3 – Ethernet Setup.

There are two submenus: Menu 3.1 – General Setup and Menu 3.2 – TCP/IP and DHCP Setup. Refer to the following sections for descriptions of these submenus. Refer to Table 3-1 on page 3-3 for information about navigating through the menus.

General Setup Menu

The General Setup Menu determines the type of Ethernet interface you are using and the filter sets you want to implement to monitor your Ethernet traffic. Refer to Table 3-6 for a description of each field in this menu.
