You can select from WNormal (180°) (default setting) and XWide (360°). See “Changing the Shooting Range” (E3) for more information.

1Frame the first edge of the panorama scene, and then press the shutter- release button halfway to focus.

The zoom position is fixed at the maximum wide-angle position.

A grid is displayed in the monitor.

The camera focuses on the subject at the center of the frame.

Exposure compensation (A49) can be set.

If focus and exposure cannot be set on the main subject, try focusing on another subject positioned at the same distance from the camera as the intended subject (A60).

2Press the shutter-release button all

the way down, and then remove your finger from the shutter-release button.

• Iis displayed to indicate the direction of the camera movement.

3Move the camera slowly and straight in one of the four directions, and begin shooting.

When the camera detects which direction it is
