Shutter Sound

Display the shooting or playback screen MPress the dbutton M Tap z Set up M Shutter sound

Choose shutter sound from On (default setting) or Off.

No sound is played with shutter release when some features such as continuous shooting or BSS (best shot selector) are enabled, or when recording movies, even if On is selected.

BNote About Shutter Sound

In Pet portrait scene mode, the shutter sound is disabled.

Shut-down Timer

Display the shooting or playback screen MPress the dbutton M Tap z Set up M Shut-down timer

In this menu, set the amount of time that elapses in stand by mode before the

camera turns off. The settings are 1 hour (default setting), 3 hours, 5 hours,

8hours, 12 hours, and Off.

All unsaved data is lost when the camera turns off after the set amount of time. It is recommended that you save the data you want to keep before the

camera enters stand by mode.

CWhen the Monitor Turns Off to Save Power

•The power-on lamp flashes while the camera is in stand by mode.

•If no operations are performed for 1 hour (default setting) while in stand by mode, the camera turns off.

•While the power-on lamp is flashing, press the power switch to turn the monitor back on.
