Shooting Menu Options

In shooting menu, the options listed below can be changed.

	Allows you to select the combination of image size and

	The default setting is P4608×3456. This setting is
	applied to all shooting modes.
	Select between Touch shutter (default setting), which
q/s/rTouch	allows you to release the shutter by tapping the monitor,
	and Touch AF/AE, which allows you to set the focus area	E28

	by tapping the monitor.
	Subject tracking can be set in A(auto) mode.
	Higher ISO sensitivity allows you to take images of darker
	subjects. Additionally, even with subjects of similar
	brightness, images can be taken at faster shutter speeds,
EISO sensitivity	and blurring caused by camera shake and subject	E35
	movement can be reduced. When ISO sensitivity is set to		Shooti
	Auto (default setting), the camera sets the ISO sensitivity
	automatically.

	Allows you to take a series of images.

	• When Continuous H, Continuous L, or BSS is selected,
	images are captured while the shutter-release button is		tures
	held all the way down.
	• When Continuous H: 120 fps, Continuous H: 60 fps
CContinuous	or Multi-shot 16 is selected, the number of images	E36
	determined by the setting is captured when the shutter-
	release button is pressed once all the way down. There is
	no need to hold the shutter-release button down.
	• The default setting is Single (i.e., only one image is taken
	at a time).
	Allows you to adjust the colors in the image so that they
	appear as they do to the eye. Although Auto (default
	setting) can be used under most types of lighting, white
wWhite balance	balance can be adjusted to suit the sky conditions or light	E38
	source and achieve more natural color tones in the image.
	• Set the flash mode (A44) to W (Off) when white
	balance is set to any setting other than Auto and Flash.
	Enable or disable skin softening. The camera softens skin
eSkin softening	tones by applying the skin softening function before	E40
	saving images. You can select the amount of effect
	applied. The default setting is Normal.
