Gracias al sensor de imagen de formato FX (35,9 × 24 mm) de la cámara, podrá seleccionar de entre ángulos de visión tan amplios como los compatibles con las cámaras de formato de vídeo de 35 mm (135), mientras que recorta automáticamente las imágenes al ángulo de visión DX al utilizar objetivos de formato DX. AObjetivos DX

Los objetivos DX son diseñados para su uso con cámaras con formato DX y tienen un ángulo de visión inferior al de los objetivos para las cámaras con formato de 35 mm. Si Recorte DX automático está desactivado y FX (36×24) 1.0× (formato FX) es seleccionado para Elegir zona de imagen al instalar un objetivo DX, los bordes de la imagen pueden eclipsarse. Dicho efecto podría no ser aparente en el visor, pero al reproducir las imágenes podría notar una caída de la resolución o los bordes de la imagen negros.
