AReconocimiento de objetivos con CPU y tipos G y D

Se recomienda el uso de objetivos con CPU (en concreto los tipos G y D), aunque debe tener en cuenta que no podrán utilizarse objetivos IX-NIKKOR. Podrá identificar los objetivos con CPU por la presencia de contactos de CPU, y los objetivos de tipo G y D por una letra en el barril del objetivo. Los objetivos de tipo G no están equipados con un anillo de diafragmas de objetivo.

Si puede utilizar el objetivo con el teleconversor

AF-S/AF-I y tiene un diafragma máximo de f/4, el diafragma aparente descenderá dos paradas a f/8

al utilizar el objetivo con un teleconversor TC-20E/

TC-20E II/TC-20E III, o en una parada y media a f/6.8 al utilizar el objetivo con un TC-17E II. Los puntos de enfoque indicados en las ilustraciones podrán utilizarse para autofoco y telémetro electrónico al instalar un teleconversor AF-S. Al utilizarse con TC-20E/TC-20E II/ TC-20E III, los datos del enfoque para los puntos de enfoque que no sean el punto de enfoque central se obtienen desde los sensores de línea. AF de punto único se utiliza al seleccionar seguimiento 3D o AF de zona automática para el modo de zona AF (0 99); con diafragmas máximos o combinados más lentos que f/5.6, la cámara podría no ser capaz de enfocar sujetos oscuros o con poco contraste.
