	Option	Description
	Alkaline	Select this option when you have inserted alkaline (AA) batteries.
	COOLPIX	Select this option when you have inserted rechargeable EN-MH1 (AA)
	(NiMH)	nickel-metal hydride batteries.
	Lithium	Select this option when you have inserted lithium (AA) batteries or
	Lithium	nickel-manganese batteries.
		nickel-manganese batteries.

Backup Battery

If the backup battery (Q14) is not charged sufficiently, the battery type setting may revert to the default setting.
