Step 1 - Select P ModeThis section details the basic steps involved in taking pictures in P (auto) mode.In this automatic, "point-and-shoot" mode, the majority of camera settings arecontrolled by the camera in response to shooting conditions , producing optimalresults in most situations.
Rotate the mode dial to P
Turn the camera on
•The power-on lamp will light and the monitorwill display a welcome screen (Q 89). Thecamera is ready to shoot when the monitorshows the view through the camera lens.
