Confirmation dialog displayed. Select Yes to create cropped copy, No to exit without creating copy, then press I (the center of the multi selector).

To view the new, cropped copy, press the multi selector down until the copy is displayed.

Cropped pictures are stored as JPEG files (compression ratio 1 : 8). Depending on the size of the original and the zoom ratio at the time the copy was created, copies will be 2,592 × 1,944 (E5600 only) 2,288 × 1,712, 2,048 × 1,536 , 1,600 × 1,200, 1,280 × 960, 1,024 × 768, 640 × 480, 320 × 240, or 160 × 120 pixels in size. Copies are stored in separate files in the memory or on the memory card with names in the form "RSCNnnnn.JPG." "nnnn" is a four-digit number assigned automatically by the camera.

Photo Trim

Cropped pictures are stored with the same recording date and time as the original.

Resized copies and cropped copies can not be cropped.

If a cropped copy created using the E5600/E4600 is viewed on a different digital camera, the picture may not be displayed or may not be transferred to a computer.
