ID-Lighting: Enhancing Brightness and Contrast

D-Lighting can be used to create copies with enhanced brightness and contrast, brightening dark portions of a picture. Enhanced copies are stored as separate files.

1 Choose the desired picture from full-frame (A32) or thumbnail (A104) playback mode and press the dbutton.

The playback menu is displayed.

Switch to the ctab when the playback menu is not displayed (A13).

2 Use the multi selector to choose ID-

Lighting and press the kbutton.

The original version will be shown on the left and the edited version will be shown on the right.

If the playback menu is displayed from a mode other than playback mode, choose D-Lightingto display the picture selection screen (A112). Choose an image to edit and press the kbutton.

3 Choose the extent of the setting using Hor I, and press the kbutton.

A new, edited copy is created.

To cancel, press the d button.

D-Lighting copies can be recognized by the cicon displayed during playback.
