Voice Memos: Recording and Playback

Use the camera’s built-in microphone to record voice memos for pictures marked with nin full-frame playback mode (A32).

Recording Voice Memos

A voice memo, up to 20 seconds in length, will be recorded while the k button is pressed down.

•Do not touch the built-in microphone

during recording.

•During recording, oand pblink in the monitor.

Playing Voice Memos

Press the k button while a picture is	15/05/2010 15:30
displayed in full-frame playback mode to	0004.JPG
play the voice memo. Playback ends when
the voice memo ends or when the kbutton
is pressed again.
• Pictures with voice memos can be	4	4
recognized by the qicon.

•Use the zoom control g/f during playback to adjust the volume.

Deleting Voice Memos

Choose a picture with a voice memo and press the

lbutton. Use the multi selector to choose wand press the k button. Only the voice memo will be deleted.

•When a picture with a voice memo attached is deleted, both the picture and its voice memo are deleted.

•Voice memos cannot be recorded for a picture that already has a voice memo attached on it. The current voice memo must be deleted before a new voice memo can be recorded.

•Voice memos cannot be attached to images taken with cameras other than COOLPIX P100.
