Functions That Can Be Set Using the Multi Selector (for Shooting)

When the shooting screen is displayed, you can press the multi selector H(m)

J(n) I(p) K(o) to set the functions described below.

•mFlash mode

When the flash is raised, the flash mode can be set according to shooting conditions.

•nSelf-timer/Remote control/Smile timer

The self-timer can be selected from 10 seconds or 2 seconds. When smile timer is selected, the camera detects a smiling face and automatically releases the shutter.

When one of the remote control options is selected, the shutter can be released with the Remote Control ML-L3 (available separately) (E117).

•pFocus mode

According to the distance to the subject, A(autofocus), D(macro close- up) or B(infinity) can be set. When the shooting mode is j, k, l, m or M, u, or Sports, Fireworks show, Bird-watchingor Time-lapse movie (night sky, star trails) scene mode, E(manual focus) can be set.

•oExposure compensation

You can adjust overall image brightness.
