Shooting for a Panorama
The camera focuses on the subject at the center of the frame. Use a tripod for the best results.
1Press the Abutton in shooting mode and use the multi selector to
select p(Panorama assist) scene mode (A52).

2Use the multi selector to choose the direction
and press the kbutton.

The yellow panorama direction icon (II) is displayed for | 9 | |
the current direction and the direction is fixed when kis |

pressed. The icon changes to the white fixed direction Iicon. |

If necessary, apply flash mode (A31),
Press the kbutton again to choose a different direction.
3Frame the first portion of the
panorama scene and take the first picture.
One third of the picture will be displayed as translucent.

4Take the next picture.
Frame the next picture so that one third of the frame overlaps the first picture, and press the
Repeat this process until the necessary number of pictures has been taken to complete the scene.
