• SAVE A TEXT ENTRY WITH A NAME

Once you have added a contact to your phone book, you can add up to four text entries, such as an e-mail address, a mailing address, or a note to that contact.

Note: Text entries can only be added to existing contacts. For instance, you cannot enter an e-mail address until you have selected a name to add the address to.

1Find the name or number to which you want to add text.

2Select Details > Options > Add detail > E-mail address, Street address, or Note.

3Add your text, and press OK.

4Press the End key to return to the start screen.

RETRIEVE INFORMATION

You can retrieve numbers from the phone book several different ways.

1At the start screen, select Contacts > Find.

2Enter the desired name.

3When the name appears, press the Talk key to call the number.

Retrieve information with shortcuts

You may want to use some of these shortcuts or alternate methods for retrieving a contact.

Press Contacts, enter the first letter of the name, scroll to the name, and press Details.

At the start screen, press the up or down Scroll key to immediately enter your list of names, scroll to the name you want, and press Details.

Press the Talk key to access a list of your last dialed calls, scroll to the one you want to dial, and press the Talk key again.

MENUS

The phone book has several options from which you can choose. These options appear when you press Contacts. Use the scroll keys to move to the menu you want to use.

Find—Search for a specific entry.

Add contact—Add a new contact to your phone book.

Edit name—Edit an existing contact.

Delete—Delete names and numbers one by one or all at once.
