A profile is a group of settings you can use to customize the way your phone works. You can set your own preferences for these items:

•Ringing options

•Ringing tone

•Ringing volume

•Vibrating alert

•Message alert tone

•Keypad tones

•Warning tones

•Alert for

•Profile name (except for Normal)

Your phone comes with five profiles, and each can be customized:

•Normal (default setting)

•Silent

•Meeting

•Outdoor

•Pager

•SELECT A DIFFERENT PROFILE

1Quickly tap the power key or select Menu > Profiles.

2Select the profile you want to use.

Profile names are highlighted as you scroll through them.

•CUSTOMIZE A PROFILE

1Select Menu > Profiles.

2Select the desired profile in the list:

Select—Activates the currently highlighted profile.

Customize—Enables you to customize a profile by changing the current settings. Press Select to view a list of options.

Timed—Allows you to set a time length for the expiration of a profile setting.

Note: When you change a setting in the current profile, it affects only that profile. Normal settings do not change.
