Enabling the Web management interface

Start the Web management interface to provide management access to the switch using a Web browser.

Procedure steps

Step Action

1From the Device Manager menu bar, select Edit, Chassis. The Chassis dialog box appears with the System tab displayed.

2Click System Flags.

3Select the EnableWebServer box.

4Click Apply.

5Click Close.

6From the Device Manager menu bar, select Security, Control Path, General.

7Click Web.

8Complete the ROUserName and ROPassword fields to specify the user name and password for access to the Web interface. All Web pages are read-only pages. You use the other fields to specify the path and file name for the Web Help files and to assign the number of rows in the Web display.
