| Mono 32ppm | This setting operates in the same way as AUTO SPEED, |

| except that the printer runs at 32ppm until a colour page |

| is detected. To achieve this speed the printer requires an |

| additional time to warm up and cool down when switching |
|
|
| to 30ppm (C830) or 26ppm (C821) for colour pages. This |
|
|
| setting is therefore most appropriate when the majority of |
|
|
| print jobs are entirely black and white. |
|
| Color Speed | The printer runs at 30ppm (C830) or 26ppm (C821) for all |
|
|
| print jobs. This setting is most appropriate when the |
|
|
| majority of print jobs are in colour. |
|
| Mixed Speed | The printer runs at 26 ppm (C830) or 22ppm (C821) for |
|
|
| colour pages and 30 ppm (C830) or 26ppm (C821) for |
|
|
| mono pages. |
