PROTECTION

You can prevent accidental erasure of pictures

you want to keep.

This function works when the lens barrier is closed.
1Display the pictures and select the picture you want to
keep.
2Press the Protect mode button to protect the selected
picture.
●The Protect indicator appears in the upper right corner of
the LCD monitor.
3To cancel protection, press the Protect mode button
again.
●The protected picture is not deleted with All-Frame Erase,
but is deleted with Card-Format.
●Protection and its cancellation are also possible in the
Index-Display mode. (p. 114)
◆Protection is not available when the write-protect
adhesive seal is placed on the card.
