Pausing the recording

Press the REC button during recording.

Recording • [≠] will appear on the display.

• The recording standby mode will be released after two hours, and the recorder will enter the stop mode.

• To resume recording, press the REC button again.

Listening to the sound being recorded (Recording monitor)

Connect headphones to the EAR jack of the recorder, and you can listen to what is being recorded. The monitoring volume can be adjusted with the VOLUME dial.

Please set the [Rec Monitor] to [On] beforehand (P. 88).

Notes

To protect your ears, turn the volume down to [0] before putting on the headphones.

To avoid feedback, do not bring the headphones near the microphone during recording.

Changing the monitoring volume does not affect the recording level or the mic gain.

Dividing a file while recording

Be sure to assign the [DIVIDE] function to the Fn button in advance (P.107).

Please set in advance the [Rec Format] to [PCM], and the recording rate to [48 kHz] or [44.1 kHz] ( P.85).

Set [Rec Mode] to [Normal] ( P.80).

At the position where you want to divide the file, press the Fn(DIVIDE) button.

Recording will continue uninterrupted.

The maximum number of files that can be stored in the [RECORDER] folder is 999. If there are already more than 998 files, file division will not be possible. If you have already reached the limit, calculate the number of times you will divide the file and delete the files that you do not need ( P.50) or move them to other folders ( P.92) beforehand to make space.
