Displaying the Histogram

A histogram can display the distribution of brightness of the image displayed for playback. The histogram feature is switched on with a menu selection.

Switching the histogram display on and off

Follow this procedure to switch the histogram display on or off.

Set the mode dial to the setup/

The menu opens in the monitor.

 

On the arrow pad, press

to move the green highlight to the

 

histogram mark .

move the green highlight to ON.

 

If you want to switch off the histogram, just

leave OFF selected.

 

Press the

button to select the

 

setting.

 

 

 

 

 

The green highlight returns to the histogram mark .

Press button again to close the menu.

Note

If the camera is connected to a computer with a USB cable, the menu is not displayed. Disconnect the USB cable from the camera.
