H = 5.95 - pipe wall thickness - (0.10 X I.D.)

Example:

3.0inch schedule 80 wrought steel; Wall thickness= 0.3 in.

Inside diameter = 2.9 in.

H = 5.95 - 0.3 - (0.10 X 2.9)

H = 5.36 in.
