Double Bass

This setting is not set automatically by the Automatic Speaker Setup function (see page 32).

With the Double Bass function, you can boost bass output by feeding bass sounds from the front left, right, and center channels to the subwoofer.

10	Press the Down [ ] button to
	select “D. Bass” (Double Bass)
	and then use the Left and Right
	[ ]/[ ] buttons to select:

On: Double Bass function on. Bass from the front left and right channels is also fed to the sub- woofer (default).

Off: Double Bass function off.

	Note:
	• If the Subwoofer setting in
	step 3 is set to No, or the Front
	setting in step 4 is set to
	Small, this setting does not
	appear.
11	Press the [SETUP] button.
	Setup closes.

Note:

•To return to the previous menu, press the [RETURN] button.

Speaker Distances

These settings are set automatically by the Automatic Speaker Setup function (see page 32).

With the Speaker Distance settings, you can specify the distances from the speakers to your listening position.

1	Measure and make a note of
	the distance from each speaker
	to your listening position.
2	Press the [SETUP] button.

3	Use the Up and Down [ ]/[ ]
	buttons to select “2. Speaker
	Setup,” and then press
	[ENTER].

4	Use the Up and Down [ ]/[ ]
	buttons to select “SpeakerDis-
	tance,” and then press
	[ENTER].
