ASTANDBY button (39)

Sets the AV receiver to Standby.

BON button (39)

Turns on the AV receiver.

CINPUT SELECTOR buttons (48)

Used to select the input sources.

DMULTI CH button (57)

Selects the multichannel DVD input.

EDIMMER button (58)

Adjusts the display brightness.

F Arrow [ Manual background ]/[ ]/[Manual background ]/[ ] and ENTER buttons

Used to select and adjust settings.

GCH +/– button (56)

Selects radio presets.

HRETURN button

Returns to the previous display when changing set- tings.

IDISPLAY button (59)

Displays various information about the currently selected input source.

JLISTENING MODE buttons (60)

Used to select the listening modes. The [STEREO],

[SURR], and LISTENING MODE [Manual background ]/[ ] but- tons can be used regardless of the currently selected remote controller mode.

KTEST TONE, CH SEL, LEVEL-, and LEVEL+ buttons (58, 73)

Used to adjust the level of each speaker.

LLIGHT button

Turns the remote controller’s illuminated buttons on or off.

MMACRO buttons (90)

Used with the Macro function.

NZONE 2 button (84)

Used when setting the volume and input source for Zone 2.

OREMOTE MODE buttons (14)

Used to select the remote controller modes. When a remote controller button is pressed, the REMOTE MODE button of the currently selected mode lights up.

PSLEEP button (59)

Used with the Sleep function.

QMENU button (on North American model)

Selects the search mode for XM Satellite Radio.

R VOL [ Manual background ]/[ ] button (48)

Adjusts the volume of the AV receiver regardless of the currently selected remote controller mode.

SSETUP button

Used to change settings.

TMUTING button (58)

Mutes or unmutes the AV receiver.

URe-EQ button (66)

Turns the Re-EQ function on or off.

VL NIGHT button (68)

Turns the Late Night function on or off.

TAPE mode

On twin cassette decks, only Deck B can be controlled.
