5.Carefully release the black clip securing the flat cable and disconnect the cable from the header on the main board.

6. Remove the keyboard cover.
Power Button Board
The power button board is located on the inside of the keyboard cover. To remove the power button board, first remove the keyboard cover (see Keyboard Cover on page 13) and then perform the following steps:
1.Release the white clip securing the flat cable and disconnect the cable from the header on the power button board.

2.Remove the screw securing the power button board to the keyboard cover (see Fig. 27).
3.Remove the power button board.
Volume Control Board
The volume control board is located on the inside of the keyboard cover. To remove the volume control board, first remove the keyboard cover (see Keyboard Cover on page 13) and then perform the following steps:
