7LCD monitor (→42, 80, 81)

8Camera [ON/OFF] button (→19, 21) Use this to turn the camera on and off.

9Shutter button (→22, 24) Use this to focus and record still pictures.

10[DIGITAL] socket (→ 74, 76) This socket is also used when charging the battery. (→11)

When connecting the USB connection cable (supplied) Insert the plug until the terminal part can no longer be seen. The plug will go in easier if you open the terminal cover wide.

11Hand strap eyelet

We recommend using the supplied hand strap to avoid dropping the camera.

12 Tripod Mount (→92)

Do not attach to a tripod with a 5.5 mm (0.22”) or longer screw. Doing so may damage this unit.

13 Card/Battery door (→12, 16)

Some methods of holding the camera may block the speaker, making it difficult to hear the beep, etc.
