You need to turn on the Wi-Fi function of your smartphone.

Do not remove the SD card during remote operations.

Refer to [Help] in the “Image App” menu about how to operate.

Caution:

Be sure to pay special attention to the privacy, the Portrait rights, etc. of the subject when you use this function. Use at your own risk.

Preparations before using [Link to Cell]

1Install the smartphone application “Image App” on your smartphone. (l 150)

2Check if the smartphone is an Android (NFC-compatible), Android (non-NFC-

compatible), or iOS device.

If your smartphone is NFC-compatible, a message asking you to touch the NFC mark on the device will be displayed when starting up the “Image App”.

Setting up a direct Wi-Fi connection between this unit and a smartphone

Using NFC, you can easily set up a direct connection between this unit and the smartphone.

If the device is Android (NFC-compatible)

Use NFC to set up a direct connection between this unit and the smartphone.

Proceed to “Using [Link to Cell] with a direct connection”. (l 125)
