Copying between SD card

and HDD

Motion pictures and still pictures recorded with this unit can be copied between an SD card inserted in this unit and HDD.

Confirming remaining capacity on the copy destination

When copying to the HDD, it cannot be copied if there is not enough remaining capacity on the HDD.

If the remaining capacity on a single SD card is not enough, you can copy to multiple SD cards following the instruction on the screen.

In this case, the last scene copied to an SD card is automatically divided to fit the space on the SD card.

If you divide the scenes (l 85), and copy by scene selection, it is possible to copy matching the remaining capacity of the SD card or the HDD, or only the necessary parts.

The 60 GB built-in HDD requires some space to store information and manage system files, so the actual usable space is slightly less than the indicated value. The usable HDD space is generally calculated as 1 GB=1,000,000,000 bytes. The capacities of this unit, PCs and software are expressed as 1 GB=1,024k1,024k1,024=1,073,741,824 bytes. Therefore, the indicated value of the capacity appears to be smaller.

Copying

If there is not much remaining capacity in the SD card, a confirmation message asking to copy after deleting all data on the SD card is displayed. Be aware that deleted data cannot be restored.

1 Set the mode dial to .

Use a sufficiently charged battery or the AC adaptor.
