About the battery

The battery used in this camera is a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. It is affected by humidity and temperature, and the effect increases the more the temperature rises or falls.

In high temperatures, the protection function may be triggered, preventing use.

Be sure to remove and store the battery after use.

i If left inside the camera, a minute

amount of current continues to flow even if the camera is off. Keeping the camera in this state may cause the battery to over- discharge, making it impossible to use the battery even after it has been charged.

i The battery should be stored in a vinyl bag to prevent metal from contacting the terminals.

i The battery should be stored in a cool place free from humidity, with as constant a temperature as possible. (Recommended temperature: 0 °C to 30 °C (32 °F to 86 °F); recommended humidity: 40 %RH to 60 %RH)
