INSTALLING THE CARD

SETUP

Before using a newly purchased card or one that was used in another device, be sure to format it with this camera (pages 119 and 130). If an unformatted card is used, the card itself may become unusable.

1Push the battery cover lock to the right to release it.

<When removing the card...>

hTo remove the card, press it in, and then release. The card will protrude slightly, and you can then pull it out.

1 Push the middle part of the card.

3With the label side facing up, push the card straight in until you hear a click.

5Push the battery cover lock to the left to lock it.

The colored label is visible when the battery cover lock is not completely closed. Be sure to close the lock completely so that the colored label is not visible.
