[Device Name]

You can view and change this unit’s device name (SSID), which is used for operating this unit as a wireless access point.

1Select [INPUT] using the SET button and then press the SET button.

2Enter the desired device name (SSID).

Input up to about 20 characters are recommended. All the characters cannot be confirmed when displaying the Device names on this unit if a long Device name is used. (l 177)

For details on how to enter characters, refer to page 172.

3Select [ENTER] using the SET button and then press the SET button.

If you are going to connect directly to a smartphone after changing the device name (SSID), set the connection again with the changed device name (SSID) (l 177).

The Password entered during the setting of direct connection cannot be changed. (l 177)

[IP Address/DNS Settings]

You can change or check your wireless LAN’s network settings, such as the [IP Address], [Subnet Mask] and [MAC Address].

[LAN setup]/[IP Address]/[Subnet Mask]/[Gateway]/[MAC Address]

If you select [AUTO], the network settings are configured automatically. If you select [MANUAL], you can set each item. Select the item you want to set, and set it.

[MAC Address] cannot be changed.
