SMS Feature (Text Message)

Deleting a Message

Follow steps 1 to 6 on the previous page, then:

7 Select “Delete”.

8 Select “Yes”, then “Deleted” is displayed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

•You can also delete by pressing then selecting “Yes” on step 4.

Editing a Message

Follow steps 1 to 6 on the previous page, then:

7 Select “Edit Message”.

8 Edit Message.

9 Press JOYSTICK.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

10 When you send to the same destination, press JOYSTICK then follow steps from 7 of Writing and Sending New Messages to a Phone (p. 50) or from 10 of Writing and Sending New Messages to a Fax (p. 54).

OR

Press and hold then go to step 11.

11 Follow steps from 6 of Writing and Sending New Messages to a Phone (p. 48, 49), or Writing and Sending New Messages to a Fax (p. 54) or Writing and Sending New Messages to an E-mail Address (p. 55).

Receiving a Text Message

When a message has been received, cordless handset display will show the following and a tone will sound. A tone will not sound if the ringer volume setting of the cordless handset is OFF. The base unit display will show only “Receiving New SMS”.

The number indicates how many mails were received. When the SMS message memory is full, “Full” is displayed. No messages can be received if the memory is full.
