Programmable Functions

You can program the following function items using the handset near the base unit. The display shows the programming instructions. See the corresponding pages for function details. Make sure the unit is not being used and the handset is lifted off the base unit.

To set the voice mail tone detection(p. 44).

 

 

Set line mode

To select the line mode (p. 15).

 

 

Set dial mode

To select the dialing mode (p. 14).

 

 

Auto talk

To set the Auto Talk feature (p. 17).

 

 

CallerID edit

To set the Caller ID Number Auto Edit feature (p. 32).

 

 

LCD contrast

To select the LCD contrast (p. 20).

During programming:

*To select a desired function item, scroll through the items by pressing Ö or Ñ. Then press á to go to the next step.

-------------- indicates the beginning or end of the function menu.

You can exit the programming mode any time by pressing (OFF).

If you do not press any buttons for 60 seconds, the unit will exit the programming mode.

If the handset has lost communication with the base unit, 3 beeps sound and “No link to base Place on cradle and try again.” is displayed.
