1 Connect this unit and a video device.

AAV/S cable (VDR-D310/VDR-D230) (supplied)

AV cable (VDR-D210) (supplied)

Insert the plugs as far as they will go.

*If the video device has an S Video terminal, also connect the S Video plug into it. This allows you to enjoy more beautiful pictures. (VDR-D310/VDR-D230)

2 Turn on this unit, then rotate the mode dial to select .

3 Change the input channel on the video device and TV.

The channel set will differ depending on the terminal to which the unit is connected.

4 Start playback on this unit. Then start recording on the connected device.

See the operating instructions of the video device for details.

To stop recording (dubbing)

Stop recording on the connected device. Then stop playback on this unit.

If the date and time display and function indication are unnecessary, cancel them before recording (dubbing). (VDR-D310) (l 42, 86)

With a printer (PictBridge) (VDR-D310/VDR-D230)

To print pictures by directly connecting this unit to the printer, use a printer compatible with PictBridge. (Read the operating instructions for the printer.)

Use the AC adaptor to free you from worrying about the battery running down.

¬Insert an SD card with recorded images in the unit, then turn on the unit.

1 Connect this unit and a printer.

Insert the plugs as far as they will go.

Do not use any other USB cables except the supplied one. (Operation is not guaranteed with any other USB cables.)

The USB function selection screen will appear.

2 Select [PictBridge] and press the joystick.

The [ ] indication appears on this unit’s screen.
