Red | Solid | The system has failed to determine |

| has been connected. |

| Also, pins (4,5) & (7,8) of a |

| such as a PC may be terminated in |

| such a way that the power patch |

| panel attempts to detect it as a PD. |

| The Element Manager may be used |

| to turn detection off (see Element |

| Manager section) to this port so no |
|
| further checks occur. The LED will |
|
| extinguish. |

| This may also be an indication of a |
|
| short in the wiring. The connections |
|
| at both ends of the horizontal |
|
| cabling should be checked to |
|
| ensure proper wiring has been |
|
| followed. |
