For security purposes, the network operator will then be given the opportunity to restrict the Element Manager to the administrator UserName only (default) or whether other users of this PC can access it. Once this selection is made, the installation process completes in only a few minutes.

Remove the CD-ROM from the CD-ROM drive and store it in a safe place.

The DPoE™ Power Patch Panel Support Tools CD-ROM also includes the option to uninstall the PANDUIT® Element Manager.

NOTE:

Critical updates to the support programs may occasionally come from Microsoft Corporation. The Windows Update option from the PC’s START Menu can be used to periodically check for such updates.
