The Monarch9416XL® Thermal Transfer printer is a desktop thermal transfer and thermal direct printer. It can print labels, tags or receipts (with or without bar codes) in peel mode (one label at a time) or non-peel mode (labels in strips).

The printer uses MonarchPrinter Control Language II (MPCL II) to create labels for printing. The Packet Reference Manual, available on our Web site (www.monarch.com), describes how to create format and batch packets for printing labels, how to configure the printer, and perform other advanced techniques.
