Connecting the Communication Cable

Make sure the printer is off before connecting the cable to the

communication port.

The printer has a control panel containing a

two-row x 16 character LCD display, control buttons, lights, and a keypad with six buttons used to access and change the printer's configuration settings.

The three buttons and lights are used to control and indicate printer status.
