When using wireless networking to connect a mobile device to the DX8100, Pelco recommends using enterprise class access points, transceivers, and switches. Wired networking infrastructure should comply with IEEE 802.3 Fast Ethernet standards. Wireless networking infrastructure should comply with IEEE 802.11a, b, or g networking standards.

STARTING THE DX8100 MOBILE CLIENT

Before attempting to start the DX8100 Mobile Client application, make sure you have installed the Mobile Client software on your pocket PC-compatible handheld device and you have an active network connection to a DX8100 HVR server.

To start the DX8100 Mobile Client application:

From the Windows Start menu, choose Start > Programs > DX8100. The DX8100 Mobile Client application starts.
