ADDING A NEW SITE TO A GROUP

1.On the DX8100 toolbar, click the Connection List button . The Connection List dialog box opens.

2.Click to highlight a group.

3.Click Add. The Server Information dialog box opens.

4.Enter the name of the DX8100 Series HVR to which you want to connect to.

5.Enter the IP address of the HVR.

6.If necessary, enter a new base port number (9002 is the default).

NOTES:

Be sure to consult your network administrator before assigning or changing port numbers.

Client and server ports must be identical.

Verify that the ports are not blocked internally but are protected from external threats by a firewall.

7.If necessary, enter a software upgrade port number (9003 is the default).

8.Click OK. The site appears in the Connection List.

9.Click OK when you return to the Connection List dialog box.

DELETING A SERVER FROM A GROUP

1.On the DX8100 toolbar, click the Connection List button . The Connection List dialog box opens.

2.Click the plus sign (+) to expand a group. The HVRs in the group appear.

3.From the expanded group, click the HVR to select it.

4.Click Delete. The server is removed from the Connection List.

5.Click OK.

DELETING A GROUP

NOTE: Deleting a group does not delete the sites in the group. When a group containing sites is deleted, the sites in the deleted group are displayed at the root level of the Connection List.

1.On the DX8100 toolbar, click the Connection List button . The Connection List dialog box opens.

2.Click the group to select it.

3.Click Delete. The group is removed from the Connection List. The server sites that were in the deleted group now appear at the root level of the Connection List.

4.Click OK.
