You can protect images from being accidentally deleted.

Even protected images are deleted if the inserted SD Memory Card is formatted.

1 Press the Q button and use the four-way controller (45) to select an image to protect.

Select an image in the single-image playback screen.

2 Press the Z button.

The Protect screen appears.

Press the 4 button.

The selected image is protected.

•Select [Unprotect] in Step 3 to cancel the Protect setting.

•The Y icon is displayed when playing back protected images. (p.25)
