Never place the moni tor or any objects
on the power cord.
• To easily disconnect the monitor power
cord from the power ou tlet, ensure that
you have full access to the powe r cord at
all times.
• When you disconnec t the power cord,
always pull the plug , never the cable.
• Disconnect the m onitor from the power
outlet and aer ial before lightning sto rms.
During lightni ng storms, never touch a ny
part of the moni tor, power cord or aerial
cable.
• Risk of hearing d amage! Avoid using
earphones or headphones at high
volumes or for prolon ged periods of time.
• If the monitor is tr ansported in
temperatur es below 5°C, unpack the
monitor and wait u ntil the monitor
temperatur e matches the room
temperatur e before connecting the
monitor to the power o utlet.
Screen care
• Avoid stationar y images as much as
possible. Stationary images are images
that remain on- screen for extended
periods of time . Examples include:
on-screen men us, black bars and time
displays. If you mus t use stationar y images,
reduce screen con trast and bright ness to
avoid screen damage .
• Unplug the monitor before cleaning.
• Clean the monito r and frame with a soft ,
damp cloth. Never u se substances such as
alcohol, chemicals or household cleaners
on the monitor.
• Risk of damage to the m onitor screen!
Never touch, push , rub or strike the
screen with any ob ject.
• To avoid deformations and colo r fading,
wipe off water dr ops as soon as possible.
